SALES TOOLS
More and more, sales personnel are being equipped with notebook computers
to assist them in their dealings with customers. If your company's products involve
complex configurations or are highly technical, consider multimedia sales tools to make
your sales team more effective. More than just one-to-one computer presentations, we can
develop sales tools that drill down to products that meet a customer's unique needs. The
software can contain a complete catalog where the user can actually visualize the products
by means of photographs, technical schematics, video, animation and simulation. Below are
two such sales tools we have helped develop.
We assisted with the design and development of a highly sophisticated tool used for sales
and product configuration. Special features included extremely complex algorithmic
scripting, user-capable equation input, on-line product catalog, formatted proposal
preview and printing, quote system, and a configuration tree.
We helped design and develop a tool to not only teach the user about RAID technology, but
also to gather information from the user and propose a configuration for the user's RAID
needs. A friendly character was used to interact with the user.
GanTek assisted a training firm with technical challenges faced in developing an online
catalog for one of their clients. The project involved re-creating a Microsoft Access
program within Authorware.
